Addicted to my baby? I think I might be…. Here’s how I know I am, and 5 ways you might be too:
1. You forget to manage your health (sleep, healthy eating, exercising) because your costumes with your little one day and night.
2. You desperately crave your baby (the object of your addiction), yet sometimes resent the hold (s)he has on you and the way (s)he’s completely taken over your life (especially when you realize you haven’t left the house in 3 days).
3. Trying to get ahold of your little one causes you to act completely irrational, and sometimes do dangerous things – like pick him (or her) up when you’re wearing nice clothes (knowing (s)he’s 75% likely to spit up all over you).
4. You want someone else to help you manage your condition (motherhood), yet you get totally jealous anytime anyone else (including the crib) is holding your little one.
5. You’re completely out of control with it — you could never quit. <3
